Egypt is one of the best places on earth to take children who have read about mummies and pharaohs: the Pyramids are bigger than any book suggests, a felucca ride on the Nile feels like an adventure, and the Red Sea reefs are a natural finale.
A private family tour takes the stress out of it. You set the pace, so days start early and finish before the heat, with a swim or a rest in the middle. Your guide tailors the stories to your children’s ages, and we arrange family rooms or connecting rooms, cots and car seats where available. Because the trip is private, there’s no waiting for a coach group when someone needs a break.

Family Egypt tours: FAQs
What age is best for an Egypt family holiday?
From about seven, children remember the Pyramids and temples and enjoy the stories; teenagers often love it. Younger children travel well too, especially with a pool stop each day and a few beach days on the Red Sea.
When is the best time to take kids to Egypt?
The cooler months from October to April. The Australian September–October and summer school holidays fit well; the July holidays are very hot in Luxor and Aswan, so we shorten touring days and add more Red Sea time. See Egypt in the school holidays.
Is a Nile cruise good for children?
Yes, for most families. Ships have a sundeck pool and the temples come to you, so there’s little packing and unpacking. Our Nile cruise with kids guide covers ships, cabins and timings.
Can you adjust a tour for our family?
Always. Every Noble Travel journey is private, so we change the pace, swap sights, add beach days and choose hotels around your family before you book.
